Chorioamnionitis

Meestal gevolg van breken van de vliezen.
Overwegend polymicrobiële infectie.

Neem steeds stalen af voor cultuur en moleculaire diagnostiek (SOA).

Bij (vermoeden van) septische abortus: overweeg dilatatie en curettage van de uterus.

Etiologie

Meestal polymicrobieel:

  • Streptococcus pyogenes
  • Streptococcus agalactiae
  • Gardnerella vaginalis
  • Anaëroben
  • Enterobacterales
  • Mycoplasma genitalium
  • Chlamydia trachomatis
  • Ureaplasma urealyticum

Therapie / dagdosis

Standaard therapie:

amoxicilline-clavulaanzuur (amoxiciIIine 1 g + clavulaanzuur 200 mg) IV elke 6 uur
+
azithromycine 2 g PO, éénmalig

Duur: tot na de bevalling of 24 uur afebriel
